After you log in and authorize access with Strava, RideTales starts importing your activities in the background. This usually takes a few minutes depending on the number of rides.

Once the activities are synced, you can start creating your book. Photos are imported separately and may take longer to appear, but the sync status will always be visible in the app.

If you experience any issues with the sync, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.

When starting a new book, you’ll be guided through a short setup where you choose the time span of activities, how your rides should be grouped, and optional filters such as distance or duration.

The rides selected for your book will appear instantly in the activity list. If there are additional rides you’d like to include, you can manually add up to 20 activities to your book.

RideTales prepares the initial design of your book automatically, selecting layouts that best match the content of each activity, such as photos, ride descriptions, or highlights. You can then personalize the book by adjusting titles and descriptions, changing and uploading photos, switching between alternative page layouts, or adding additional photo pages.

If there are chapters you prefer not to include, they can simply be hidden, and rides can always be removed later from the book settings.

04 Designing your book

01 Account

At the moment, RideTales works by importing your cycling activities from Strava. To create a book, you’ll need to log in with your Strava account and authorize RideTales to access your activities.

Once your book is ready, you can proceed to checkout directly from the final page of the editor.

RideTales offers both a printed version and a digital edition of your book. After the order is confirmed, the book moves into production and preparation for delivery.

Because every RideTales book is personalized, production and delivery may take up to two weeks. Please reach out if your delivery is late.

We currently ship within Europe and the United States. If your country is not listed during checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to arrange shipping.
